Bon Jovi announce London O2 Arena residency

Band also line up new album for November

Bon Jovi have announced plans to stage a residency at London's O2 Arena next year.

It is not yet clear how many nights the band will be playing at the venue, but they have announced that they will kick off their residency on June 24.

The dates will form part of their globetrotting 'The Circle Tour' which starts in the US in the spring of 2010.

Tickets go on sale next Friday (October 30).

The band announced their world tour today (October 22) at New Jersey's New Meadowlands Stadium car park with a secret gig to over 5,000 fans to mark the stadium's grand opening.

Bon Jovi release their new album 'The Circle' on November 2.
